AnaMaria Onică: “My main goal in my current role is for VOXi products to become reference products in digital health in the speech therapy/mental health niche globally.”
Each year, Business Magazine publishes a catalog of the most important business people under 40, highlighting ambitious young individuals in leadership positions within large companies or leading rapidly growing startups. Over time, the Business Magazine yearbook has listed names that would become highly successful leaders, including Iulian Stanciu – CEO of eMAG, and Severina Pascu – CFO and deputy CEO of Virgin Media in the UK. Each edition of the catalog includes only new names from the local business environment who have not been part of previous editions.
AnaMaria Onică, co-founder and CEO of VoxiKids, has 10 years of experience as a UX/UI designer, which has helped her understand what is involved in building truly innovative products.
“The experience I've gained has helped me build the existing products and understand how to manage niche teams and projects. We have managed to bring to market, in a relatively short time, two digital products with great scaling potential, which are already appreciated.”
Through Voxi products, AnaMaria aims to make the connection between children and speech therapists easier in the digital environment. The VoxiKids App allows children to go through specialized exercises in the form of a speech therapy game for speech development and can be used both at home and in speech therapy offices. With over 14,000 downloads, VoxiKids App has had unexpected success for a niche product. The VoxiClinic digital clinic aims even further, seeking to facilitate teletherapy – that is, online speech therapy, through which parents can access speech therapists from anywhere in the world, thus eliminating the problem of physical access and geographical barriers.
